Official Records and Custody Contacts

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is the first official contact for a county arrest, a named booking record, an intake photograph, or the current housing location. Its published page does not state records-desk hours, so call before visiting.

Use the route that matches the question. A custody check, a sheriff booking record, and a final court outcome are separate tasks:

  • For a Sedgwick County booking sheet or intake photo, begin with the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office. The home page explains the focused CCJRA request path and published starting fees.
  • For current custody or a release alert, call the sheriff first to identify the actual housing facility, then use Colorado VINE. If the sheriff confirms Logan County Detention Center, call 970-522-2578 option 2. Do not assume every Sedgwick arrestee is housed there.
  • For filed charges, a court date, a disposition, or a possible personal warrant, contact Sedgwick Combined Court, 315 Cedar Street, Julesburg, CO 80737, at 970-474-3627. The clerk’s office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Email SedgwickClerksOffice@judicial.state.co.us.
  • For a person sentenced to Colorado state corrections, use the Colorado Department of Corrections Offender Search. For a correctional record not shown there, use the CDOC records-request channel.
  • For a federal sentence, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator. It covers federal inmates from 1982 forward and does not publish inmate photographs.
  • For qualifying immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. It is a location tool, not a Sedgwick County criminal-case or mugshot source.
  • For immediate danger, call 911. Do not approach anyone believed to be wanted. A person concerned about their own warrant should contact the court or an attorney.
